Description

Plumeria 'Jackie'

Plumeria 'Jackie,' also known as 'Thai Jackie,' is a compact, slow-growing variety from Jungle Jack in Thailand, admired for its thick wood, unique foliage, and dynamic multi-colored blooms. This heavy bloomer produces stunning 3-4” temple-shaped flowers that vary in color and shape with the season.

Dynamic Multi-Colored Blooms
The flowers of 'Jackie' display an evolving color palette, starting with a peachy blush on white petals and transitioning to yellow, creating a multi-colored effect in each cluster. The back of the petals has a peachy red hue. In cooler temperatures, the flowers may appear solid yellow. Its pagoda-shaped blooms are best achieved in warm conditions.

Unique Foliage and Compact Growth
'Jackie' has very thick wood and distinctive foliage that is dense, wavy, and corrugated. Its compact growth habit makes it ideal for small spaces or container gardening.

Vanilla Scent and Prolific Blooming
The blooms emit a sweet vanilla fragrance, enhancing their appeal. This variety is a prolific bloomer, producing large, vibrant flower clusters throughout the blooming season.

Special Notes
'Jackie' requires heat to develop its full bloom shape and color. It also sets seeds, offering opportunities for hybridization.

In Summary
