Plumeria 'Mary Helen Eggenberger'

Plumeria 'Mary Helen Eggenberger' (Moragne seedling) is a beautiful and fragrant cultivar with vibrant colors and a compact, prolific growth habit. Named after the co-author of The Handbook on Plumeria Culture, this variety is a standout in any garden or Plumeria collection.

The flowers of 'Mary Helen Eggenberger' measure approximately 4 inches and feature a lovely mix of colors. The petals are primarily white with a pinkish-purple band on the edges and a large yellow eye that radiates rays onto the petals, creating a stunning contrast. The petals are slightly overlapping with slightly pointed tips, giving the blooms an elegant, rounded shape. The inflorescences open from the outside, like a lei ring of blooms, and gradually fill in, forming large clusters that are about the size of a basketball.

The fragrance of 'Mary Helen Eggenberger' is delightful, with a sweet, grape gum scent, making it an aromatic addition to your garden. Its flowers have firm, long-lasting quality, making it ideal for lei making. The plant's compact growth habit produces many branches and flower heads, and the blooms cover the plant in abundance, offering a colorful, fragrant display.

In summary, Plumeria 'Mary Helen Eggenberger' is a beautiful variety with vibrant rainbow-colored flowers, great fragrance, and an impressive blooming habit. Its compact growth and prolific flowering make it highly recommended for Plumeria enthusiasts and gardeners alike.
