At Florida Colors Nursery, we are always striving to improve our fertilizing schedule for plumerias. In 2023, we are excited to introduce a new approach that begins with a drench of Vitazyme and Root Activator, ensuring the optimal health and growth of your plumeria plants.

Vitazyme is a remarkable liquid biostimulant derived from natural sources. Through a proprietary fermentation process, it contains a unique blend of biological activators, including vitamins, enzymes, triacontanol, and other gentle yet powerful growth stimulators. This conditioning treatment enhances the soil, enriching it with essential nutrients and organic matter, promoting overall plant vitality.

Root Activator, another exceptional 100% natural product, plays a crucial role in stimulating root regeneration. By increasing elongation rates, this product encourages rapid root growth, reduces transplant shock, and aids in the establishment of plumeria plants.

For the 2023 season, we are implementing the use of Excalibur Boost granular fertilizer with an NPK ratio of 11-12-14, complemented by essential micronutrients. This water-soluble and quick-release formula is specifically designed to provide plumerias with the nutrients they require at the start of the season and during transplanting. Excalibur Boost offers an additional boost of phosphorus and potassium (PK) to support both bloom and root development, ensuring your plumerias thrive and flourish.

To complete the fertilization process, after two months, we recommend applying Excalibur IX. However, please note that if you are located in a different zone, you can substitute Excalibur VI for Excalibur IX without any issues.
